Hello! My name is Sam, and I'm a yoga, flexibility and bodyweight fitness instructor/coach. I've been teaching fitness classes since 2008 and am very passionate about health and well-being. I've taught to all levels of practitioners - from Silver Sneakers classes in athletic clubs to PE yoga for elementary schools and even advanced flexibility/contortion in the Portland metro.
I really do believe that fitness not only helps you feel good in your body, but also teaches us how to be more intentional with our thoughts and day-to-day actions. Gaining a better understanding of our mind-body connection can provide so much insight into how we function as an individual human being. I feel truly grateful for the experiences that have brought me to this point in my career and I hope that I can share some of the lessons I've learned along the way with others.
I am a Texas native that moved to Oregon in 2011. I'm the mother of a busy 8 year old boy, and you can find us kayaking on one of the local rivers, tromping through the woods or spending time in my garden.
