Passionate About Inspiring Others

Hello! My name is Sam, and I'm a yoga, flexibility and bodyweight fitness instructor/coach. I've been teaching fitness classes since 2008 and am very passionate about health and well-being. I've taught to all levels of practitioners - from Silver Sneakers classes in athletic clubs to PE yoga for elementary schools and even advanced flexibility/contortion  in the Portland metro.

really do believe that fitness not only helps you feel good in your body, but also teaches us how to be more intentional with our thoughts and day-to-day actions. Gaining a better understanding of our mind-body connection can provide so much insight into how we function as an individual human being. I feel truly grateful for the experiences that have brought me to this point in my career and I hope that I can share some of the lessons I've learned along the way with others.

I am a Texas native that moved to Oregon in 2011. I'm the mother of a busy 8 year old boy, and you can find us kayaking on one of the local rivers, tromping through the woods or spending time in my garden.

  • Over 1000 Hours in Yoga Teacher Training

  • NASM Certified Personal Trainer

  • SUP & Aerial Yoga Certified

Qualifications

  • 14 years of teaching experience.

  • Proven client results ranging from curbing back pain to gaining flexibility.

  • I practice what I teach on a daily basis.
